As a true lipstick enthusiast, I often want to start my posts expressing how excited I am to be writing about yet another amazing tube of lipstick, but honestly, it couldn’t be more true right now. When I got Beauty Professor’s collaboration with Christian Audette in the mail I let out a little scream followed by “OMG RACHEL!”
For those who don’t know Rachel Anise is the beauty writer behind one of my favourite sites, Beauty Professor. She is a public speaker, model, actress, all around lover of luxury beauty, and fellow beauty blogger. She’s also happens to be new mother and when I held her three piece lipstick collaboration in my hands I have to admit that I teared up a little and thought “This is your year, Rachel.”
Mushy feelings and well wishes aside, let’s dive into the collaboration between Beauty Professor x Christian Audette, a brand that is admittedly new to me.
Christian Audette is a cosmetics brand that specializes in producing vegan and cruelty free products. Their formulas are rich, creamy, and intensely pigmented, antioxidant rich and paraben-free.
For her collaboration with Christian Audette, Rachel stayed true to her voice and created three nude shades that range from pink (Elle), to more neutral (Johanna), to peach (Golightly). The lipsticks come in a keepsake cosmetics bag bearing the CA x BP logo. The lipsticks are long lasting and I was pleasantly surprised to see it still on even after I had been snacking and drinking coffee.
CHRISTIAN AUDETTE x BEAUTY PROFESSOR
JOHANNA: A quintessential pinky nude cream, named after Rachel’s baby daughter.
GOLIGHTLY: The exact shade of opaque peachy beige with a satin finish that Audrey Hepburn wears in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
ELLE: A universally flattering and buildable cool baby pink with a touch of luminosity. The name has special significance for both her mom and daughter and thus is an homage to women of all generations.

The CA x BP collection is beautiful and while I can see it working well for those who love nudes. I have a preference towards nudes that are more towards the medium end of the shade spectrum so I’ll be wearing a medium nude pencil underneath my lipstick. That way I can enjoy the collection while having it cater to my shade preference. Never under estimate the colour of a good lip pencil!
Congratulations Rachel for creating such a beautiful collection. I can’t wait to see what you’ll do next! Thank you for including me on the launch. I’m beyond honoured and flattered.
